According to the authorities, at least 22 people were killed and numerous others were injured in two different shooting incidents that happened in Lewiston, Maine, on Wednesday night at a restaurant and a bowling alley. A person of interest is being intensively sought after by officials.
The person of interest is a 40-year-old Bowdoin resident named Robert Card. Mike Sauschuck, the Commissioner of the Maine Department of Public Safety, says Card is armed and dangerous.

Card is a member of the U.S. Army Reserve and a trained firearms instructor, according to officials who spoke with CNN. Additionally, authorities disclosed that Card had lately threatened people and given information about mental health concerns, such as hearing voices, in the Maine city of Saco.
Saying, “We are not prepared to go into the (Card’s) background,” Sauschuck declined to disclose more details on Card during a news conference on Wednesday night.
