World Cup 2023 – Pakistan Cricket Team Arrives in India for ICC Men’s Cricket

The Pakistan men’s cricket team arrived at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, India on a mission to win the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, igniting a crescendo of enthusiasm in the cricketing community. The Pakistani team is prepared to make an impression when the world’s best cricket players come together for this renowned tournament.

When the Pakistan cricket team arrived in India, Babar Azam led his team to their reserved hotel while being escorted by an amazing convoy of almost 20 security vehicles. This increased security underlines the significance of the occasion and the necessity to guarantee the players’ safety and the smooth operation of the competition.

World Cup 2023

Meticulous planning and organization went into the trip from Pakistan to India. The national team took off from the airport in Lahore at 3:20 am, stopping briefly in Dubai route. After that, they got on a plane to Hyderabad, India, where their World Cup campaign officially began. The travelling squad of 18 players and 13 support workers prepared for the obstacles.

Despite the hectic trip, Pakistan’s cricketing prowess won’t have much time to recuperate. Within 48 hours of being in India, they will play New Zealand in their first warm-up game on September 29. Three days before their World Cup debut against the Netherlands on October 6, their final warm-up match will be against Australia on October 3.Both of those games will take place at the same Hyderabad site.

Under the leadership of Babar Azam, Pakistan’s team at the ICC World Cup 2023 features a wide range of quality cricketers. In addition to Mohammad Rizwan, who serves as wicketkeeper, the team also consists of Abdullah Shafique, Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Usama Mir, Haris Rauf, M Wasim Jnr, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Saud Shakeel, and Salman Ali Agha. As travelling reserves, Mohammad Haris, Abrar Ahmed, and Zaman Khan are prepared to take over if necessary.

Before beginning the actual tournament, the team must perfect their techniques and game plans in the warm-up games.

  • October 31: Pakistan vs. Bangladesh in Kolkata
  • November 4: Pakistan vs. New Zealand in Bengaluru (Day match)
  • November 11: Pakistan vs. England in Kolkata

Daytime games begin at 10:00 am Pakistan Standard Time (PST), while day-night games begin at 01:30 pm.

Pakistan will compete in Kolkata if they get to the semi-finals. If India advances to the semi-finals, their match will take place in Mumbai, with the exception of when they play Pakistan, in which case the game would take place in Kolkata.
